The Women's Christian Support (CHR) Chat
This is the Christian support chat room, for women who want to discuss PAS healing from a christian point of view. If your browser is java enabled, you should be able to join in. To chat, wait until the 'applet' loads completely - you will then see a big blue box, and a dialogue box with the word "Guest" in it. Replace the word "Guest" with the nickname you want to use, then click 'connect', and you will be taken into the Chat Room.
Chat Room Rules
This chat room is periodically moderated. When a moderator is available, they will remove any chatters from the room that do not follow the site's chatting policies. All chats in this room are logged, and IP addresses are logged as well. Abusive chatters will have action taken against them.Policies
- No prolife/prochoice discussions
- No graphic discussions
- No discussions about medical abortions in progress - direct such women to the medical abortion information page
- No unplanned pregnancy discussions, i.e. no advice or counseling for a woman trying to decide what to do with an unplanned pregnancy - direct such women to Unplanned Pregnancy Information Page
- No rude, judgmental or abusive comments
If a Moderator is not available
If a rude or offensive chatter enters the chat room, you can get rid of them by clicking once on their name in the list of names to the right, so that their name is 'highlighted', then click the box a little further down that says "ignore". From that point forward anything that person says will not be seen by you - it renders them 'invisible' to you. To take someone off 'ignore' uncheck the box. If you want to chat privately with someone, click once on their name in the list of names to the right, so that their name is 'highlighted', then click the box a little further down that says "private". Then what you type will be seen only by that person. If you wish to talk to 'everyone' in the room again, then unclick the private box. Report inappropriate chatters to jilly
